This workshop is all about jumping into the world of singing, dancing, and acting. Students get to try out all three, see how they fit together, and then perform a short piece that shows off their new skills.
AIM
To introduce students to the three core disciplines of musical theatre through a fun, practical, and age-appropriate workshop with industry professionals.
OBJECTIVES
✠Explore theatrical disciplines of singing, acting, and dancing in an accessible way.
✠Teach and create material appropriate to junior or senior students.
✠Guide students in combining all three disciplines culminating in a short performance piece.
OUTCOME
Students gain a fresh perspective on theatre, greater confidence in performance, stronger teamwork skills, and the thrill of creating and sharing a short performance.
The goal is to give everyone a taste of what musical theatre feels like — fun, energetic, challenging, and hugely rewarding.
