“What, you can actually do this for a living?!” Yes, you can! In this workshop, LITA practitioners share our own journeys in the performing arts, from stage to backstage, and give a realistic but inspiring peek into how it all works.
AIM
To inspire students to explore performing arts careers while providing practical guidance for those pursuing further study or auditions.
OBJECTIVES
✭ Share first-hand experiences from professional performers, directors, and creatives.
✭ Offer Q&A opportunities about career pathways and industry realities.
✭ Coach students in audition preparation, including monologues, songs, and presentation.
OUTCOME
Students gain clarity about creative career options, practical audition skills, and the confidence to pursue their ambitions in the performing arts.
Students get to ask the questions they’re really curious about, and those preparing for auditions can even try out monologues or songs with professional guidance. The aim is to demystify the industry, and the takeaway is confidence, clarity, and maybe even a new dream to chase.
